Comfort: Ready-to-fit design allows for customization of the fit for each patient, when required. Greater adustability of the condylar pads provides greater comfort at the joint line. Our "C-fold" Velcro straps with foam cushions allow all-day wear for your patients who require it. Cuff liners are removable and hand-washable. The Advantage II ACL was designed with all-day wear in mind - it can be worn all-day, every day!
Control: The Advantage II ACL utilizes a rigid frame which provides a fulcrum for support, both to reduce A-P translation and to provide range-of-motion control. Angled "C-fold" Velcro straps provide great comfort as well as solid support. The Advantage II hinge provides self-contained range-of-motion controls... no wedges, stops or other parts to lose. These settings allow for great versatility throughout rehabilitation. Adjustable condylar pads provide great medial-lateral support.
Construction: The Advantage II is one of the lowest-profile ACL braces on the market today, whether off-the-shelf or custom fit. This profile is achieved through a lightweight, streamlined aerospace 6000-series aluminum frame. Malleable for a customized fit, yet sturdy enough to hold the fit, the Advantage II will keep its fit better than other off-the-shelf ACL braces.
